Kingaroy Observatory welcomes Stargazers of all ages to come and experience viewing the wonders of the Universe through large telescopes and hear an on-going commentary by host astronomer, James Barclay.
Schools, bus tours and community groups are welcome.
Schools & Groups
For schools, we can cover any aspect of the Solar System and Universe that fits into the National Science Curriculum.
Whether it's a school, a community based group, social group or a coach group, we can start anytime that suits your schedule.
For schools and groups who visit, the Teachers/Leaders are free of Charge. Parent supervisors are $15 each.

Minimum number of persons for a Day show is 6 adults.or 8 Pensioners
Terms & Conditions
- Day and Night shows not suitable for children under five years of age.
- ALL prices above are cash only
- Prices are subject to change without notice. Prices include GST
- Minimum number of attendees for a Day show is 6 adults or 8 Pensioners
- Maximum number of attendees for a Night Show is 40, and for a Day show is 70
- A 25% deposit is required when submitting a group booking of 6 or more
- If your group is unable to attend on the booked date due to weather, lack of numbers etc we offer a three (3) month rain check.
- If you do not choose to reschedule your booking within 3 months, your deposit will be forfeited.
